Hello, I'm Nicolás González, I'm 20 years old, I'm a person that like dance and share with my friends, because I can liberate the tensions, and like you know, I'm vegetarian and it is the most important to me.

she is my dog, like you can see she is very beautifull and adorable, she is 1 year old and her name is Muñeca.

also, this year has been very sad, because my neighbord and friends died, and he and I were very friends. We always played when we were a little boys and I miss him very much.

This year has been…

This year has been very difficult in terms of study because I entered to the school to study translation and interpreter, and it has been has because I didn’t k now very much about English, but now I know very much.

In terms of my family, this year has been very good, my father found a good job and in healthy terms, my family has been bad, because in winter my father was sick, he was cold and my little brother too.

Also, I have been very happy because I found love, I have worked very much too, in my job I found very good friends just like in the university, in the university I have very good friends, they always help me when I need it, when I need and advice, when I am sad, etc…

Also, this year has been very sad because my neighbored died, I were very fiends. We always played when we were little boys.

The next year, I hope that will be better in terms of school, family and health.

If I were translator and interpreter my life would be…

My life would be different, because I would know about cultures from different countries, also my life would be very fun because I would speak English language much better, I could travel around the word working or just like a tourist, and I could k now many places around the world.

My life would be very interesting because I could meet many people from different countries, I would help tourist if they are lost in our country.

Also, my life would be so easy, because I could understand the movies, songs, international channels TV, books, etc…

If I were a translator and an interpreter, my life would be like a professional, because I would be working on what I like with other language.

I love reading, so I love PMLs

The PMLs are exams, where we should read and I must answer a question in 950 words, the teacher gives us a text we must read it and answer a question.

I love reading since I was a child, I like it, when I read I imagine that I’m into the story, for example when I read I believe very much in the story.

But sometimes I hate PMLs because they are stressful and boring, sometimes I can’t find the words to answer it the question with less word and by boring my grade can be very low.

“To me, midterm and final represent...”

These exams represent the most important exams, where I can demonstrate everything I learnt in class. I have an oral exam, where I show my skills learnt in class to speak, such as: pronunciation, fluency, etc… also I have a written exam; I can demonstrate grammar, vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.

Always, in the midterm, I get nervous, so that I always betray me, because I can’t be in front the teachers doing my presentation, so, I should get over it.

Also, in the midterm and final exam there is an important grade at stake, this grade decides if I pass the subject, me and all classmates are under pressure in the midterm and final, so, we must study very much to have a good grade.

We have on midterm and one final the semester and these are the most important exams.

How my life has changed since I’m studying translation and interpreting?

I think, my life has changed very much, because, I can understand very much everything, for example: movies, songs, international TV channels, books, etc…

Also my uncles are from Norway, so, when they come to visit us, I can understand them when they talk. When they are at their country, I can write and send them letters, and know how have been.

When I began to study this major at this university, I didn’t know very much vocabulary, but now, I know more, also, I’ve learnt to speak and write in Spanish, because in this major we have a subject named Spanish, because this language is our mother tongue.

Thanks to this major, I can teach English to my little brother and some friends. Thanks to this major, I’m doing my dreams come true, because my dream is to be an expert speaker of English and so I can work on what I like.
